Revelation 8:13

And I saw, and I heard an eagle, flying in mid heaven, saying with a great voice, Woe, woe, woe, for them that dwell on the earth, by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, who are yet to sound.

The seraph is saying this because, although the judgements of the first four angels were bad.  The last three judgements will be much much worse.

I got inspiration to paint this when someone mentioned to me that they thought of peacock’s wings with ‘eyes’ on them.  Considering the seraphim are covered all over with eyes, I therefore used the design of peacocks ‘eyes’ with a different hue of purple and tuquoise, laying the color on using polyurethane car paint!

This has been a difficult painting to transport as it is about 2 metres long.
